Blog Tour - Little Black Book by Tabatha Vargo & Melissa Andrea - 5 STARS!!!

Little Black Book by Tabatha Vargo
&  Melissa Andrea

Five Fantastic Stars
Blurb - My name’s Sebastian Black, and I want to buy you. I could have any woman I want, but I choose you.
NO RELATIONSHIP, JUST SEX.

Here’s my offer…
I’ll put your name in my LITTLE BLACK BOOK, and when I want you, I’ll call you. When I call, you’re going to come, in more ways than one. It will be mutually pleasurable for both of us.

There are only two rules:
DON'T EVER DENY ME.
DON'T FALL IN LOVE.

If you do either, I’ll remove you from my book and payment stops.

Do we have an understanding?
Little Black Book is the newest stand alone by the Tabatha Vargo & Melissa Andrea.
I’ve got to say it phew even the blurb is seriously sexy, I was lucky enough to be given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review so here goes.
Ok so the good bits...
·         Sebastian Black, holy sex on a stick batman that bloke has some serious sex appeal!!
·         Christ this book is sexy!!
·         Did I mention Sebastian Black!!!!
·         Roz or should I say Jessica I loved her!!
And the not so good bits...
·         Vick, I did not feel her at all.
God I should hate this book, I feel like I should be offended or at least slightly outraged. But do you know what I am.... I’m squirming in my seat, fanning myself to cool off, properly turned on!!!
This is the sexiest books I’ve read in a long time, but it’s not crude or particularly explicit. This book is a big ole tease and I loved it!!!
Sebastian, Sebastian, Sebastian what an arsehole!!! I feel like I should be offended for every woman he’s ever met but yet there’s something about him that makes it all acceptable somehow lol.
Roz she defiantly has a journey in this book a sort of sexual awakening and by the end she is a naughty, naughty girl!!!
I think its official move over Christian Grey there’s a new man in town! Sebastian Black is what fantasies are made of. He’s dominant without being a nutter, he’s alpha without being a control freak and god is he sexy. Sebastian Grey is my new book boy fantasy sex god.
The sex scenes in this book sizzle because they are not all just about the act of sex, role play is such an important part of the sexual energy. Half of this book is literary foreplay we as the reader are teased and lead along a path of sex games, role play and fantasy and underneath it all is a love story that makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.
I will say that I was half expecting the twist in the story line I don’t want to give away any spoilers because where’s the fun in that.
I didn’t like Vick from the start I can’t quite put my finger on why but I just definitely didn’t warm up to her.
Since the 50 Shades of Grey revolution many authors have tried to write books that are as titivating and sexy and the majority have failed miserably. This is because for a book to be truly sexy doesn’t just mean it has lots of sex.
Little Black Book succeeds where many have failed its incredibly sexy, sharp and even witty in places. This book makes the taboo appealing and manages to be both risqué and sexy, the naughty kinky bits are not crass they are titivating and yet above all this is a romance with a proper love conquers all love story.
As you may have guessed I loved this book, in my house smutty books are known as girl porn and this is girl porn at its absolute best. I devoured this book in a few hours and I will be honest after I finished it I needed at least an hour to cool off lol. Absolute genius and if Sebastian offered to put my name in the book id say HELL YES!!!

Heres the book trailer Sebastian says give it a click...

I find it hard to sum up my life in a paragraph, but I'll try.
Reading has always been a passion for me, and writing as instinctive as breathing. Every inhale is an idea; every exhale a creation. Flutter will be my debut release, and I couldn't be more excited about it! The only thing I do better than writing you ask? Making beautiful girls. My daughter's will always be my greatest accomplishment.
I was born in Denver, Colorado -but I will always think of sunny Arizona as my home. I don't have a big family, but I'm close with my sister, brother & my mom. My mom is my hero, my inspiration, and I couldn't have asked for a more amazing person to be raised by.
4 things you should know about me: I'm very girly, but I can get down and dirty with the best of them. I adore the color pink, I love things that sparkle (including vampires) and I like even numbers (hence 4 things about me, not 5)

A Summer Romance by Tracey Smith - Devereaux Manor Mystery #1 - 4 STARS!!!

A Summer Romance by Tracey Smith

Four Mystery Filled Stars
Blurb - Maggie had her entire life planned out since the age of twelve, looks like the joke was on her. As all of her carefully laid plans begin to fall apart she jumps at the opportunity to get away and spend a carefree summer down south.

When she arrives at Devereux Manor it all seems too good to be true. The home is beautiful, the town is inviting, and the sexy gardener promises to make this a summer she won’t soon forget.

However the more she learns about the elusive Ms. Devereaux she begins to realize that the carefully placed ad in front of her dorm room may not have been the happy coincidence that it once seemed. Maggie isn’t the only one who Ms. Devereaux has lured to the plantation, and Ms. Devereaux isn’t the only one with secrets to hide.
A Summer Romance is the first book in the Devereaux Manor Mystery Series and the first book I have read by this author.
I was given this book by the author in exchange for an honest review so here goes...
Ok so the good bits...
·         I love a good mystery!!
·         Maggie, her character evolved and grew.
·         Aaron what a hottie with a tragic back story.
And the not so good bits...
·         I need the next book like NOW!!
I wasn’t sure what to expect in this book, the blurb is defiantly elusive and like the rest of the book it has an edge of mystery to it.
To say that I have been completely sucked in by this book would be the understatement of the year!!! I devoured it in one go in a matter of hours, I literally couldn’t put it down
A Summer Romance manages to be both a romance and a Scooby Doo style mystery book and I mean that it has twists and turns that you would never expect.
I loved both Aaron & Maggie they are from very different backgrounds and are brought together by a weird twist of fate or at least they think so.
I love the fact that even though Maggie is from a rich family and had a lot of privilege she was just as lonely as poor Aaron.  He spent years in a juvenile detention centre after killing his step-father to protect his younger sister.
I really hope that Mrs Devereaux gets involved and finds Aarons sister for him!!
The level of intrigue in this book is what transforms it from an average everyday romance book into a brilliant mystery that had me on the edge of my seat.
For once in my life I love the fact that this book left so many questions unanswered, who is Aaron to Mrs Devereaux , why did she bring both Aaron & Maggie to the manor and what on earth is going to happen next.
I love that this whole book has a small town feel, everyone knows everyone else’s business and yet Mrs Devereaux still manages to stay a complete enigma.
Andi is brilliant and I’m so glad that she became friends with Maggie they bounce off each other really well and I loved their banter.
The dude attacking Maggie came completely out of left field for me, I totally want expecting that and I’m hoping that his actions are going to be explained in more detail in the next book, who was it that told him to get rid of them, and what is in the mystery file????
I loved Maggie and I really enjoyed how the author developed her character, the longer she was at the manor the more confident she became. I soooo was not expecting her to be a bit of a sex kitten though and I was super impressed that she seduced Aaron.
Overall I loved this book, I loved Aaron & Maggie and I can’t wait for the next book to find out what’s going to happen next.

Laid Bare by Lauren Dane - Brown Siblings #1 - 1 STAR :(

Laid Bare by Lauren Dane

One awful star
Blurb - It's been ten years since clean-cut, sexy-as-hell police officer Todd Keenan had a white-hot fling with Erin Brown, the provocative, wild rocker chick next door. Their power exchange in the bedroom got under his skin. But love wasn't in the cards just yet...

Now, life has thrown the pair back together. But picking up where they left off is tough, in light of a painful event from Erin's past. As Todd struggles to earn her trust, their relationship takes an unexpected and exciting turn when Todd's best friend, Ben, ends up in their bed--and all three are quite satisfied in this relationship without a name. As the passion they share transforms Erin, will it be enough to help her face the evil she thought she had left behind?
Laid Bare is the first book in the Brown Siblings Series, Having read Lauren Dane’s book Sway I starting having a look at the authors back catalogue and found this book.  I loved Sway so I was really excited to start this book.
I will be honest this was not exactly what I was expecting.
Ok so the good bits...
·         The first quarter of this book is great.
·         I love Erin she knows exactly who she is and what she wants.
And the not so good bits...
·         This book got a bit weird!!
·         I really hated Ben!!
This book started out great strong women Erin wants Todd, he’s a cop who’s a closet wannabe Dom but he thinks that’s bad and dumps Erin, Flash forward ten years and he’s embraced his sexuality he reconnects with Erin and they have sort of kinky sex.
Now all this took less than half of the book and this is the point when this book starts to get a bit weird.
Enter stage left Ben, he’s Todd’s bessie mate and somehow he ends up in an odd three way relationship with the now married Todd & Erin.
Cue some excruciatingly awkward sex scenes between the three characters. Now I’m no prude I love smutty, kinky books and I have nothing against threesome scenes.
But for me once Ben gets involved this whole story stops working, having a threesome with a mate is one thing it’s titivating and forbidden. I have even enjoyed books where the story revolves around unconventional relationships with one woman and multiple men (Maya Banks Colters Woman).
However why this book doesn’t work is because Erin & Todd had a happy relationship with some kinky sex and a lot of love. I don’t have any clue why they would then decide that a third person would be thrown into the mix.
Ben declares that he is Bi and is interested in Todd but apart from some kissing and a couple of very uncomfortable wanking sessions they really don’t interact with each other. Ben is obviously into Erin and Todd likes to share fair enough whatever floats your boat.
God I’m sorry but I just hated this book, I finished it because I really struggle to not finish a book I start, but I cringed the whole way through.
I liked Todd and for the first part of the book I engaged with him and liked his character, however I feel like once the triad situation took hold he kind of just became part of an ensemble cast.
I’m just not sure how this book went in such an odd direction and then you throw in Erin’s stalker and the man who killed her daughter being up for parole and the book darts in another random plot twist.
Then please don’t even get me started on the end, it just stops and I’m left feeling very odd, there was no happy ending epilogue and Ben is alienated from half of his family who can’t accept that he is in a Triad relationship.
Sorry but hated, hated, hated this book just drove me insane if I didn’t want to break my ereader I would have thrown it across the room grrrr.

Save Me by Amanda Heath - Make or Break Me #3 - 4 STARS!

Save Me by Amanda Heath

Four Rich Kids Rock Stars
Blurb - Courtney Pierce never thought he would love anyone but Annabella Gage. She was his entire world for eleven years. Even though she was dating his older brother, he couldn’t seem to let her go. Then things shifted and lines became blurred. Pierce wasn’t sure whose bed Annabella should be in anymore.

But Annabella has secrets. Dark secrets she will do anything to protect. So like the crazy witch that she is, she rips Pierce’s heart to shreds and devastates his soul. He’s left with the emotional wreckage and no way out in sight.

Then Rachel Sanders drop kicks into his life. The beautiful brunette is utterly hard to resist and one night of intense passion leads to an unexpected surprise. A surprise that has all their friends shocked, because Rachel and Pierce couldn’t be more different.

Now he’s left with one option and it doesn’t include Annabella. Rachel, though, is full of surprises and Pierce finds their relationship so incredibly easy. Way easier than what he had with Annabella. So easy he finds he didn’t even know what love was before Rachel.

But like any twisted love story, Pierce is hiding dark secrets, too. Secrets that he feels will rip he and Rachel apart. When push comes to shove will Pierce spill those secrets? And if he does, will they separate the new lovers before they even have a chance to begin?

Much like Pierce and Annabella, someone else has something to hide. Let’s hope Rachel sticks around because when this secret comes out. , she’ll be the only one who can save Pierce.
Save Me is book # 3 in the Make or Break Series, I’m a huge fan of this author and I have really enjoyed the previous two books.
Ok so the good bits...
·         Courtney (Pierce) is absolutely adorable, I love him!!
·         Rachel, she’s sassy and full of attitude but also insecure and lonely.
And the not so good bits...
·         These characters are all high school age and hell they have all been through so much I’m surprised they are all sitting and rocking.
·         Annabella what a nut job.
Ok so I really enjoyed this book, I will admit I had some very high expectations and I was not disappointed.
Courtney Pierce has defiantly been portrayed as the bad guy in the previous books and apart from a glimpse in book #2 we haven’t really seen anything of his personality.
Save Me for me is really all about Courtney, god if I had met a guy like him at 18 I would have married him in an instant. He is incredibly mature for his age and deep down such a sensitive soul.
I feel a bit like a perv because I will quietly admit that I’m lusting abit after Courtney, now I know that he’s 18 but god I imagine him as a bit of a male model type sex god!!!
There is quite alot of sex in this book which for me is a bit weird because they are only kids still in high school, now if I pretend that they are both mid twenties then I can happily say that the sex is hot!!!
Courtney & Rachel have some chemistry I liked them together, I felt like there vibe was more of a love than rip each other’s clothes off but it still gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling whilst I read the book.
Now whilst Courtney appeared much older than his 18yrs Rachel was very young and immature.
I loved that she was full of sass an attitude and she complimented Courtney’s reserved quietness perfectly.
I would have liked to have heard abit more of Rachel’s POV because I don’t feel like we get to know her that well in this book.
It was brilliantly bizarre that when Rachel found out she was pregnant all of the families were very accepting of it and no one suggested that she have an abortion.
I hated Annabella with a passion she was a selfish evil bitch and that’s terrifying for someone so young.
I have to say that this book is a bit daft, super rich trust fund kids with extreme lifestyles, it definitely feels like its nods its cap towards Gossip Girl but I loved that show so this works for me.
Overall I loved this book its silly and passionate and sweet and just a really good read.

One Night Promised - The One Night Trilogy #1 by Jodi Ellen Malpas - 4.5 STARS!!!

One Night Promised by Jodi Ellen Malpas

Four & a half M-oholic Stars
Blurb - Livy notices him the moment he walks into the coffee shop. He's heart-stoppingly stunning, with a blue-eyed gaze so piercing she's almost too distracted to take his order. When he walks out the door, she thinks she'll never see him again. Then she finds the note he left on his napkin . . . signed M.

All he wants is one night to worship her. No feelings, no commitment, nothing but pleasure. Every defense mechanism Livy has adopted during her solitary life is at risk of being obliterated by this confounding man. He's obnoxious but well-mannered. He's a gentleman but aloof. He's passionate but emotionless. Yet the fascination is so powerful, Livy can't deny him... or herself.

M awakens something in Livy, something deep and addictive that she never knew existed -- and that she fears only he can satisfy. But she senses that behind the fast cars, fancy suits, and posh apartment, he's aching inside. To have him, body and soul, she'll have to brave his dark secrets. Delving into his world and breaking down his defenses become her obsession - an obsession that could shatter her heart beyond repair...

One Night Promised is the first book in The One Night Trilogy; I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review so here goes...
Ok so the good bits...
·         The elusive M, he’s a bit of an enigma but by the end I was a total M-oholic!!
·         I love Livy she goes through such a journey in this book.
And the not so good bits...
·         I need the next book like NOW!!
Ok so I’m a massive fangirl for Jodi Ellen Malpas’s This Man series and I was super excited when I received my ARC of One Night Promised.
One Night Promised is not exactly what I was expecting, it’s a slow burn of a book, the story builds and builds until it hits its peak and explodes in a fireball of absolute bloody brilliance.
I will be honest I was expecting a male lead not unlike Jesse (This Man) who is a bit like a bull in a china shop, but M is pretty much the polar opposite.
In the first quarter of the book I really disliked M he’s seemed like an emotionally stunted asshole, but just as I was starting to write him off he began to show his true colours. Jodi Ellen Malpas has written his characters emersion from his emotional ice cube so beautifully that I have been totally converted. As M becomes more involved with Livy you can actually feel his obsession build and the chemistry between them is palpable.
This author knows how to write good sex and hell she’s done it again!! The sex is passionate and sexy but not too crude; it’s enough to make you blush but not have you panting on the train on the way home from work.
M is incredibly alpha but not in an in your face dominant way, he knows what he wants and definitely how to get it. His dominance is portrayed in subtle actions and words which all pull together to make him one seriously sexy man-god.
Livy, the poor girl has some issues (understatement of the year) as the story progresses she goes through a massive journey of self discovery and I have to say that I love the way that her character developed.
She’s quirky and unique and I found myself instantly engaging with her, I loved that she wasn’t super confident and was very down to earth and almost a normal girl.
M and Livy have some serious chemistry and for the first half of the book all of their interactions have a very sexual undertone. As daft as this may sound I found this a very visual book, I can picture M & Livy clearly in my head, I can picture what M’s apartment looked like. But for me the clearest and sweetest image from this book is M & Livy doing his ‘thing’ even thinking about it now makes me go arhhh.
This story may start off slow but by the end I was absolutely hooked, I simply could not put this book down. I was outraged reading the last page this book cannot end like that!!! I need to know what happens!!
Its officially My name is Gemma and I’m an M-oholic !!, it’s been 3 hours since my last hit of M and I can’t wait till the next book is released so I can get my next fix!!!
