***Book Blitz - Little Wolf by Amélie S. Duncan - Out Now***

***Book Blitz***

Little Wolf
by Amélie S. Duncan

When twenty-three year old Tala Velsik appears in a last minute performance art piece, she has no idea that public nudity will be the least of her worries. Wearing nothing but silver paint and a pair of antlers, her body is bared to hundreds of eyes, but one penetrating stare simmers through the others, Adrian Caro.

Adrian Caro is one of the world’s most famous directors and photographers, but with striking features and a body made for sin, most would guess he belonged in front of the camera.
Of course, the last thing Tala needs is romance, even with a walking Adonis. Mounting bills, a dead end job and a set of childhood memories most therapists would pale at; love is low on her list. Assuming, of course, her new admirer allows her to have a say in the matter.

Shocked yet thrilled by Adrian’s passionate domination, Tala can’t help but feel she’s standing on quicksand. For all his wealth, fame and talent, Adrian is tormented by his own demons; hiding secrets big enough to destroy them both.

“Time to get up.” His voice pulled me from my dreams. I gazed through my lashes, then blinked a few times at the windows and noticed the sun hadn’t risen yet. I turned to Adrian, dressed in shorts and a t-shirt, bouncing on his feet. True to his word, he was up and ready for me to start his new routine.
I covered my head with the pillow. “I thought you were on vacation,” I grumbled.
He pulled the pillow and sheets away and handed me a sports bra, shorts, and a t-shirt.
“It gets too hot later to run,” he said in explanation. “We’re off to Ouest Coriche for our daily run with Henry.”
I grimaced as I put on the clothes he had laid out for me. Once I was finished, he chuckled and tied my long, black hair in a loose ponytail.
“You’re grumpy in the morning.” He looked sweltering hot, and alert. He’s a morning person too.
I scowled at him before going to the bathroom and cleaning myself up as quickly as I could. Then I followed him down the stairs and out to the car where Henry was waiting for us. Watching the two of them prep like professionals made me nervous.
I did a few leg and arm stretches. “I’m a beginner, go easy on me,” I implored.
Dites-le nous en français, tell us in French, Henry teased, and they laughed in unison.
I made a face. “I don’t know how to say it in French yet. Uh. Facile s'il vous plait? Easy, please?”
Adrian suddenly wrapped his hands around my waist and kissed the side of my head.
Votre français est mauvais, Your French is awful.” I hit his arm and ran for the car, door already opened, and dove inside.
“You little brat,” Adrian said when he reached me. He pulled down my shorts and swatted me on the ass.
I mewled and giggled at the same time. “Ouch!” He leaned down and kissed both cheeks, then helped me pull my shorts back up.
“Behave, or there will be more.” His face was dark, and I felt a stir below my waist.
Henry climbed in the front and called back to us. “We’ll do a few miles down the beach to start. You’ll love it.”
I scrunched my face. “Hey, I’m a beginner! Remember? On sand?” I whined. They both chuckled. I crossed my arms and stared outside as we made our way up the coast.
He was right about one thing. I loved the view. Even with the absent sun, the swaying palms and oceanfront was breathtaking. He parked, we checked our sneakers and water bottles, and took off.
As the sun rose, I heated up fast. I took frequent breaks as Henry and Adrian looped me in the area, their set circle, creating the pace for the run. I tuckered out after my third loop and shook my head as the two of them competed in gladiatorial runs against each other. Even with the breeze off the water, I was too hot.
I finally stopped. “I can’t move anymore,” I called out. Adrian came over and gulped his water down before handing the rest to me. I took a sip and wiped my forehead.
“Get on my back,” he ordered.
I frowned. “I’ll hurt you. We’re too far from the car now.”
He snorted. “I didn’t say I would carry you the whole way, little wolf.” His face was firm, and I now knew that meant this would go his way.
I sighed and wrapped my arms and legs around his neck and waist as he lifted me up with an ease that suggested I might be weightless. I buried my face against his neck and inhaled. He smelled so good, even when covered in sweat.
“What are you doing?” Adrian asked in an amused tone. He knew exactly what I was doing, so I only giggled. He hopped a little, and that made me laugh.
“Tala.” He sighed my name and started walking us down the beach. I was unfamiliar with our surroundings, right up to the car where we found Henry waiting for us. When Adrian put me down on my feet, I spontaneously wrapped my arms around and hugged him. He rubbed my back.
“What’s this for?” he asked. I looked up and saw the surprise and delight in his face, and a flutter went through me.
“Do I need a reason?” I asked softly.
He hugged me tighter and kissed my hair. “Never.”

***Lost Souls Bonus Scene by Eliza Freed***

***Lost Souls Bonus Scene***
by Eliza Freed

Eliza Freed the little Tease has written a bonus scene for Forgive Me book #1 in the Lost Souls Series. The new scene is from Jasons POV and will get all of us in the mood for Redeem Me book #2 in the Series that releases on 3rd February!!!!

Heres a little note from Eliza Freed explaining the scene....

This scene goes back to Cedar Creek Lake in Texas. It's where Annie and Jason spent a week in a cabin on the lake, and used the time to repair their damaged relationship. I wanted reader's to hear from Jason before the next book is released. I wanted them to remember how much he loves Annie, how hard he worked to keep the relationship going. Theirs is not a perfect union. It defies comprehension by everyone outside of it, and pushes both their limits of compromise and acceptance.

I could write about Jason Leer every day. Even when he's not present in the series, he's a part of each scene. None of the Lost Souls could take place without a deep understanding of his love for Annie and its impact on her life. My fear is that as long as I write, I'll never know a character as well as I know him.

Eliza

PS - I really do have an unhealthy obsession with Jason Leer.

Bonus Scene

Annie reaches down and touches my hair with one hand and covers her eyes with the other. Her breathing deepens as she fights for air and I fight for her orgasm. I need to see her come. I continue with my tongue and she arches away from me. I pull her back to my mouth, not letting her go. She will be mine forever. She writhes and presses her thighs against the sides of my head and I lick her swollen lips one last time as she succumbs. I’m sure I could keep her here, on this kitchen table, for the rest of our lives. Her chest rises, her eyes still covered, and I can barely recall how angry I was at her a few days ago.
“Let’s take a bath,” I say, wanting to forget the past few weeks, and her trip to New Orleans…and her complete unwillingness to value her safety. “It’ll make you feel better.”
I take her hand and help her off the table. She follows me to the bathroom without a word. She’s always so tranquil after she comes—serene, not questioning a thing, not remembering what’s lost. I turn on the hot water and plug the tub. There’s a jar labeled “bath salts” with a scoop on the shelf. It smells like vanilla. I toss the scoop on the counter and pour a shot of salts into the water.
“Where’s your lighter?” she asks.
“You gonna start smokin’?” I tease, but stop short of making a crack pipe comment.
“To light a candle,” she says, exasperated.
“I’ll do it. You get in while it’s hot.”
I line the candles up on the counter and light them one-by-one. Annie doesn’t move from the mirror. She runs her hands across her bruised skin until she shudders. It’s the evidence of a thousand needs only she can satisfy. Usually it’s my fault. No matter how many times I tell myself to be gentle, as soon as she’s near me I lose control. This time though, these bruises are her doing. I wanted to talk. She wanted this.
Her eyes follow her hands over her breasts and down to her waist. I drop the lighter and turn off the lights. Her skin glows ethereal in the candlelight, but she still stares in the mirror, gliding her fingertips across the bruises on the inside of her thighs. I cover her hand with my own.
“Get in the tub,” I whisper in her ear.
She climbs in. Sometimes, when she listens without arguing, I forget how stubborn she is, how she can infuriate me more than anyone else walking this earth. Annie lowers herself until she touches the water and then pulls back up.
 “Too hot?”
“I just need a second to get used to it,” she says. She rests her arms on the sides and sinks in, laying her head on the edge. I watch until the peace returns to her face and then undress myself.
I reach to change the music. Her taste is abysmal. But the lyrics grab my attention. They hint at a love affair with the devil. I drop my arm to my side and turn back to Annie. She looks like an angel, but she drags me through hell.
“I feel beautiful when you look at me.” Me, and every other man on the planet.
“You are beautiful, Annie. Surely you know that. I’ve heard you told a hundred times before.”
“Understanding the way others view my appearance and the way I feel when you look at me are two totally different things.” I climb into the tub and rest her legs on each side of my waist. I run my hands up and down them. My dick’s hard in the water and I force my mind to concentrate on the fact that she’s sore, that her body needs a break.
“What else do you feel when I look at you?” I’ve never had to ask before. Annie couldn’t hide a thing from me, but these last few weeks my misery has replaced assuredness. If she can hop in a car to Mardi Gras without telling me, I’m no longer sure what she’s capable of.
“I thought you didn’t want me to think about us,” she says, reminding me of the weeks following her parents’ death. She tortured herself with her mind. Every waking hour, every moment of sleep.
“That was then.” Now I need to know everything. I lean forward and run my hand up the inside of her thigh and she closes her eyes and surrenders to my touch.
“Transparent,” she says, and I swear her voice is inside my head. “Alive. Condemned.” She opens her eyes, waiting for some response, but I have only understanding. When she called from New Orleans, it was like a life sentence—incapable of finding her, waiting to hear she was safe, wanting to kill her myself. If something happens to her...
“Wanted. Safe.” Her words pull me from the horror. “I feel like nothing bad can happen to me if I’m with you.” Which is why you should be with me. I rest her foot on my shoulder and wash her leg with a sponge.
“It scares me, the control you have over me.” At this I laugh out loud. How ironic.
“That’s interesting because it’s the complete lack of control that keeps me awake at night,” I say, wishing she didn’t drive me so insane. I place her leg back in the water and raise the other one. Her legs should be wrapped around my neck every day. The familiar need mixed with anger and frustration returns and I bury it down deep. This can’t become an argument.
“What are you going to do after graduation?” I ask. On my list of things I’m not leaving Cedar Creek Lake without settling, the end of her Rutgers career is at the top. I run the sponge down her calf with my lips following it, reminding her of where her future is.
“I’m just getting used to the idea I’m back in school. I haven’t considered after. It’s common to have a Masters in Statistics. Maybe I’ll do that.”
“So common.”
“Probably not as common as Philosophy majors.” She smiles and watches my lips return to her leg. “What are you going to do?” she asks, and the smile drains from her face.
“I won’t graduate for another year.”
“Why?”
“Light credits, especially in the spring. Makes it easier to miss four days a week at rodeos.” The statement separates us, even in this tub. The rodeo is like a curse word she hates to use.
“Do you ever think it would be easier to date a girl from Oklahoma?”
“Every day you’re away I think it.” And every minute you’re doing drugs, and every time I see the way guys look at you, and every walk home late at night you take, and every mile you drove to New Orleans. But the thought of another girl is ridiculous. I half-laugh as I say, “They’re close. I could have them every day. They understand rodeo.”
“They have dirty shoes,” she plays along.
“They listen to good music.” Annie lowers her eyes to the bubbles and I lose her for a second. Her green eyes filled with doubt, hidden from the one person who’s incapable of hurting her. I slide forward and lift her head. “No matter what, I can’t get past they’re not you. You’re in my blood and I’ll never let you go.”
“Condemnation.” Oh, you have no idea.
I turn her around and pull her back to my chest. The sponge in my hand runs down her neck and around her breasts. Here, in this tub in the middle of Texas, it’s impossible to think we can’t make this work.
“Close your eyes and, if you promise not to use it against me, I’ll tell you why I love you,” I say in her ear. Her head falls back on my shoulder and I kiss her neck.
“I promise.”
“I love you, Annie, because when most girls would fall apart, you get pissed off. You don’t understand the concept of surrender.” She smiles at my words and floats up, arching her back at my touch. “And you can’t be tamed.” I pull her back to me. “And yet I’ve never met someone with a greater ability to see the good in people. You are the perfect mix of courage and mercy.” I stop. Unsure of how far I should take this, but the question has been pounding in my head since I left Stillwater. If we’re going to make it, we’ll have to be together. I run the sponge to her belly button and back up. My lips graze her neck and slide to her ear.
“Come to Oklahoma, Annie.” She stiffens in my arms. I should regret asking her, but I don’t.
“Haven’t we been over this?” Steady…
“Not now. Spend the summer there with me and then move there after you graduate. Spend my senior year with me.” She’s silent, searching her mind right in front of me. I know it’s not where she belongs, but it’s where I need her to be. And I’m selfish enough to ask her, knowing she’s generous enough to come.
“I’ll go. I’ll spend the summer there and if it works, I’ll move there after graduation.”
“You will?” I yank her around. Her answer shouldn’t surprise me the way it does. I realize now, a part of me feared this might be our last weekend together. A part of me I don’t allow myself to hear.
“On one condition.” She’s strong, and bold, and I stop breathing. Fuck.
“I would say anything, but it’s you so I’ll just ask what the condition is.”
“You’ve got to back off of me for the next year.” I’m a scolded child. One who doesn’t think they’re wrong. “Trust my instincts. Believe that I’m surrounding myself with good people. Give me some credit.”
“Annie, you have to admit your behavior is a little scary.” I plead with her to hear some reason.
“I live smack dab between Philadelphia and New York City. If I want a tranny hooker dressed as a nurse to deliver an eight ball of cocaine to me, I can get it in an hour.” God, I hate her sometimes. “I’m fine. I will get high. I might try ’shrooms. I’ll most definitely stay up too late and possibly not drink enough fluids, but I’m going to be okay. You have to trust me.”
I say nothing. A million contentions flying through my mind. She’s a danger to herself in an unsafe city. Backing off is not possib—
“You make me want to lie to you about what I do,” she says, and it could not have felt worse if she punched me in the face…again. She’s never lied to me.
I lean back in the tub shaking my head in defeat.
“All right. I’ll try.”

About the author:
Eliza Freed graduated from Rutgers University and returned to her hometown in rural South Jersey. Her mother encouraged her to take some time and find herself. After three months of searching, she began to bounce checks and her neighbors began to talk; her mother told her to find a job.

She settled into Corporate America, learning systems and practices and the bureaucracy that slows them. Eliza quickly discovered her creativity and gift for story telling as a corporate trainer and spent years perfecting her presentation skills and studying diversity. It's during this time she became an avid observer of the characters we meet and the heartaches we endure. Her years of study have taught her laughter is the key to survival, even when it's completely inappropriate.
She currently lives in New Jersey with her family and a misbehaving beagle named Odin. An avid swimmer, if Eliza is not with her family and friends, she'd rather be underwater. While she enjoys many genres, she has always been a sucker for a love story...the more screwed up the better.

***Cover Reveal***

Sidelined by Emma Hart
By His Game #2
Out 2nd March 2015

RELEASE DAY: MARCH 2, 2015

Three people. Three motives. Three reasons.
When the game leaves the field in the second book in the USA Today bestselling BY HIS GAME series and mixes with sex, lies, and betrayal, the future isn't the only thing on the line...

Macey Kelly has sworn off men. Unless they’re going to zip in and out of her apartment—and her vagina—quicker than they can give her an orgasm, she’s not interested. Finding out her boyfriend of three years got her cousin pregnant was a total confidence knock. Luckily for Macey, confidence is
something she has in abundance, so all Mitch’s asshole move did was make her pretty cynical toward men.

The last thing Jack Carr needs at the start of the season is for a dark-haired, sexy as sin, gyspyesque beauty to be consuming his thoughts. Football is his life, which leaves no time for girls. Unless they’re the love ‘em and leave ‘em girls. Becoming one of the best running backs the league has ever seen by racking up the yards is his top priority… not bedding Macey Kelly, despite her affinity for blow jobs and total sexual abandon.
Avoiding each other is the perfect solution, but when your best friends are in a serious living together kind of relationship, that isn’t always an option. Sometimes, sex on tap is the easiest option. And the sweetest.

Until Mitch shows up with a bombshell that could shatter Macey’s perfectly carved out life. It’s been a year, but he isn’t giving her up, not now he has a chance at winning her back. And he knows her buttons. Every single one of them.
Unfortunately for him, Jack Carr isn’t a loser. The star running back has his eye on the Vince Lombardi—and on Macey. But seeing her hanging between them both isn’t something he’s down with, not when he discovers why she’s so against anything more-ish, as she puts it.Macey quickly realizes she’s the ball being passed between two desperate yet opposing teams, and that only one of them can score the touchdown. But will the winner be the guy she lived with and loved for three years, or will the winner be the guy who understands her and makes her body come alive?
In this game, someone will be sidelined, and calling the play isn’t always as easy as it seems.

(SIDELINED is a full-length, standalone novel. It's not necessary to read BLINDSIDED before this book, but it is advised.)

EXCERPT

“Put the drink down, M,” he whispers. “It’s fucking with you.”
“Really? I thought that was you fucking with me,” I respond, turning to him and pressing a hand against his chest. “What the hell are you doing here?”
Like, right here. Literally.
“It’s my best friend’s birthday.” He smirks. “Why’ve you been staring at me all night like you wanna suck and bite my cock simultaneously?”
“I assure you it was the latter.”
“Sure it was.” Jack steps into me again, and I grab my glass with the hand closest to him so I don’t grab his ass or something, ‘cause, shit. He’s got a sweet as hell ass.
“It was.” I drink. Again. Where the hell are my girls? “I feel like dancing.” I finish the glass and twist my body away from his.
His hand finally falls from me as I stalk toward and down the stairs. I slip into the moving crowd, but I’ve barely moved my hips when two large, strong hands clasp me and tug me backward.
The wall of muscle my back slams into is solid, and I exhale on a whoosh, even as I close my fingers against the ones clasping my hips.
“Nice try, baby,” Jack says into my ear. “Run if you want. I’m a running back. I’ll chase you and catch you every fuckin’ time.”
“Sounds like a promise you can’t keep, doll,” I reply, my breath catching when he moves my hips against his.
“Sounds like a promise you’re afraid of.”
I laugh and shove his hands away from me. I turn to face him. Even in the darkness, his eyes blaze bright green, so fucking bright they’re close to blinding me every time the strobe lighting coasts across his face. And, shit, it does it so many times, and every time, it illuminates every line and curve of his perfectly sculpted jaw.
“You wish, Jack Carr. You fucking wish.”
His hands snatch mine and he pulls me through the crowd. I fight his hold, but his grip is too tight.
My heart pounds as he drags me through the hall with certainty, and in two minutes, I find myself pressed against his goddamn car in the parking lot.
“What the fuck?” I shout, shoving at him. He grabs my hands once more and pins them over my head, effectively bending me backward on the hood of his SUV. “What the fuck?” he replies, leaning into me, his voice low. “Is that hard or soft, quick or slow, deep or shallow? ‘Cause baby, I can fuck you all six of those ways in one go.”
“None of them,” I snap. “What the fuck, as in, what the fuck, asshole?”
“Oh, that what the fuck.” He bends forward a little more. Until his mouth is against my ear and his hard body is pressed right up against mine. “Maybe it’s the what the fuck I felt when I felt your eyes on me all night. Maybe it’s the what the fuck I felt when you looked at me like you wanted to fuck me one minute, then the next, slice my balls in two. Maybe it’s the what the fuck you’ve got in your eyes while you let me lie my body over yours in a motherfucking parking lot seconds after I ask you how you want to be fucked tonight.”
“I don’t want to be fucked,” I reply, doing my best to slam my hands into his hood. I fail—shit, he’s so fucking strong I can’t even twist my hands in his grip.
“Baby, your body says otherwise.”
“My body is an impulsive fuckwit.”
“Your body knows me.”
“Again, my body is an impulsive fuckwit.”
“You never did say.” He breathes against my jaw and brushes his lips against my skin. “How do you want to be fucked?”
He tilts his face into my neck and kisses. Oh, hell, he kisses my neck, right beneath my jaw, where my chin meets my neck, and I pause. I inhale sharply.
“Get in the goddamn car,” he orders, releasing me.
“Excuse me?” I push up and stare at him.
“Get in the goddamn car,” he repeats, pulling open his door and staring me. “Or have I gotta throw you into it?”
“I am not getting into your car!”
He slams his door shuts and rounds on me. I step backward, but he’s too quick, and he wraps an arm around my waist. My body slams into his yet again as he opens the passenger side door of his SUV and throws me into it.
“Get. In. The. Goddamn. Car.”
“This is kidnap!”
He slams my door, and I both see and hear him laughing as he walks to the driver’s side. “Sure it is, baby. I’m startin’ the engine now, so you got ten seconds to get the hell out before I drive. One…two…”

My Review
3.5 Old School Romance Stars

I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of this book in an exchange for an honest review.

I've read a few of Kim's books before and loved them. The indelibly marked series is youthful and witty and tatted up hotties really what’s not to like.

On the dotted line feels like the older more sophisticated cousin to the other novels I have read my Kim.

This romance is old school; it's sweet and a little smulchsey at times. But above it all it’s through and through romance.

Willow is a new age hippy dippy women who floats through life quoting weird words of wisdom.

To be honest I found her a bit of a coward. She talked a good game but rarely followed through.

Randolph seriously has a stick stuck up his butt. At the start he was so uptight and a bit of a dick.

Together they do make an adorable Dharma and Greg style couple.

At times I really just wanted to bang their heads together, considering Randolph is highly educated and Willow is a bit of mind reader you would think they would stop being so stupid and sort themselves out.

This old fashioned romance was a nice break from the edgier stories I've been reading recently.

For me Jed and Nan stole they show that Dog was a bloody genius.

This book was adorable and super sweet.

On the dotted line gets 3.5 stars

“How is this possible?” She threw the candle down. At last she cracked and he fought a smile. “How is what possible?” She hit her fist into her leg. “How is it possible that a man who is as passionate, creative and gorgeous as you, be you!” The second the words left her mouth she turned away. “I suppose the same way a woman as utterly breathtaking and ethereal as you is you.” He closed the distance between them and took her shoulders. “I know what my problem is.” Her muscles tensed against his hold, but she didn’t back away. Instead, she glanced at him. “What?” “I spend the better part of my existence thinking about how bad I want you.” He inched their faces close together, slid the strap of her dress down and kissed her on the junction between her neck and shoulder. “The whole time I painted I was thinking about you.” She gasped. No way would he let up. While his tongue trailed over her skin, lapping up her sweet taste, he pulled the other strap down. Her breath quickened and she braced herself on the wall. He nipped at her collarbone and down over her shoulder. With both hands, he kneaded her breasts, her already hard nipples scraping against his palms. “Damn it!” She twisted her hand in his hair. He reached behind her and pulled down the zipper to her dress. With no straps to support the garment, it pooled at her feet between them. The site of his wife’s nude body caused his erection to throb. “Something wrong?” In an attempt to show her how everything would go down, he unknotted his tie. She jutted her jaw out, took hold of his shirt and pulled. The buttons popping off starting from the center and working their way up to his collar and down to his belt. “Is something wrong with you?” She snuck her fingers inside his shirt, scratching her nails across his chest. “Nothing we can’t fix.” He pushed her hand down to the front of his pants. She stared into his eyes and gave him quite a squeeze. “I thought you didn’t want to stay here.” Keeping her hold she slid her hand down his erection. Turnabout was fair play. He cupped his hand between her legs. “Yeah, well I thought you said we weren’t having sex.” “Who says we’re having sex?” She betrayed her own words by bucking her hips. With no resistance, he slid a finger inside her. “You tell me.” He added a second.
