The Summer We Fell
by Amber Garza
Adam Stewart is every girl’s fantasy – captain of the football team, smart, funny, hot. I’ve had a crush on him for years but he never noticed me. Until now.
Dating Adam is a dream come true. I should be happy about it, but it’s hard because my best friend Cruz is acting strange. Almost like he’s jealous. But that can’t be. Can it?
Cruz and I have been inseparable since we were kids. He’s always been like a brother to me. But lately things have changed. He’s different, and I’m starting to see him in a new light. Our relationship is evolving in a way I never thought possible. I don’t want to lose him, but am I willing to give up Adam for him?

My Review
4 Cute as hell stars |
The Summer We Fell is a new standalone novel by
Amber Garza, I’m a fan of this author and have read several of her other books.
I was lucky enough to be given an ARC of this book by the author in exchange
for an honest review so here goes...
Do
you know what this book did to me??
It
made me smile, this story is massive cutesy wootsy love fest and it was
adorable.
Sloane
is the clueless tomboy and Cruz is the sexy best friend, inevitably they have
secretly been in love with each other for years.
Sloane
is adorable, she is suitably tongue tied around sexy quarterback Adam and I
loved how she stumbled over herself when she was around him.
Cruz
is blatantly hook, line and sinker for Sloane but I loved the inner monologue
he had in his POV’s.
This
book is very YA now there’s nothing wrong with that but I tend to prefer a bit
more heat in my books.
The
thing with Amber Garza’s book is that I don’t care about the lack of sexy time
because they are just so dam cute.
This
book is Sweet Valley High crossed with Dawson’s Creek and hell I loved both of
those shows as a kid.
Cruz
& Sloane are the cutest couple, we all know that they are going to end up
together and I love that everyone in their family & friends knew they would
end up a couple even before they acknowledged it themselves lol.
This is a really easy read, there’s no real angst or any fear that there won’t
be a HEA it’s just happy, smiley love all the way!!
This
book is a great big ball of cute as a button and I enjoyed it! You can read it,
your tween daughter can read it and your gran can read it and you will all end
up with a grin on your face going arrrrr 4 stars!!
