- Samantha is celebrating her newly retired status from competitive triathlons
with a diving holiday in her favourite place in the world: Australia’s Lord
Howe Island. But all divers need a buddy, and Sam can’t dive solo. A chance
meeting with rugby league superstar Cooper Sterling in the dive shop seems
serendipitous. Sam can’t wait to have a partner who might be able to keep up
with her.
It soon becomes evident that Cooper and Sam are compatible both in and out of the water, and things gets seriously sexy. But Sam is disinclined to be another football groupie, and Cooper has been burned before. So the rules are clear: a holiday fling, no strings attached, and they part as friends at the end.
But as the final days of their time together come to a close and a life apart becomes a reality, Sam and Cooper start to question their decision. Is this holiday fling really the finish line or can Sam and Cooper turn their friendly competition into more than sizzling sex?

Deep Diving is a standalone novel and the first book
I have read by this author, I was given a review copy of this book by the
publisher in exchange for an honest review so here goes...
I’m not entirely sure about this book on the one
hand there is an awful lot of smoking hot sex which gets a big thumbs up from
me.
On the other hand it has a very thin “romance”
between Samantha & Cooper.
I liked both characters and they were obviously very
much in lust with one another but I think it would be a stretch to call it
love.
Samantha is a 38 year old ex professional athlete, control
freak, commitment phobe. I have to admit I kinda liked her, the character has a
very dry sense of humour and things she said had me laughing out loud.
Cooper is a 30 year old professional rugby player
who is hot as hell and a bit of a sex god lol.
The book is written in Samantha’s POV so I didn’t feel
we really got to know Cooper, but what we did find out about him I liked a lot.
Did I mention this book has a LOT of really hot
sex!!!
Well hell I probably need to say it again there is
loads of hot sex in this book!!!
Sam & Cooper literally ooze sexual chemistry and
they embrace it by basically getting down and dirty whenever and wherever the
mood takes them.
I also have some issues with this book...
I really needed an epilogue; I want to know what
happens to them. Do they make it work, does she end up pregnant??? This book
ends and I didn’t get that sense of closure instead I felt frustrated!!!!
He offers to get her pregnant after knowing her for
a matter of days WTF!!!!!!
I’m sorry but I just didn’t feel a love connection,
they had known each other for 10 days and for most of that time neither of them
considered their relationship anything but a holiday fling.
This book isn’t particularly romantic and to be
honest for me everything else that happens outside of the sex was just filler.
The question I’ve had to ask myself is does it
bother me that the story is a bit lacking..... Well no it really doesn’t, this
book is sexy and a bit kinky and had me squirming in my seat and that worked
for me lol 3.5 stars.
