Lover Unknown is the first book in a new series by
the author Ellie Kincade, I was given this ARC in exchange for an honest review
so here goes...
This is a very short novella almost like an extended
prologue, where we are introduced to the main character Hadley and the elusive
club Q.
For me this was just too short, we don’t really
learn anything about Hadley just that she was invited to an anonymous club, where
no one knows what goes on there apart from the rumours that it’s a bit kinky!!
This book revolves around the kink that having sex
in a dark room and having no idea who your partner is would be sexy.
Sorry but for me it didn’t really float my boat, I
enjoy the build up before the sex and there just wasn’t any.
This book starts, she has sex with a random stranger
and then it ends.
I like kinky books but this wasn’t kinky just a bit
odd, sorry only my opinion but nope not a squirm in sight.
The best bit about the book is the anonymous mans
speech at the end about how he is in love with Hadley and he invited her to
Club Q, this added the only bit of intrigue and interest to the whole thing.
Sorry didn’t work for me 2 stars!
