Catch is book #1.5 in the Broken series by Michelle Congdon, I have been
lucky enough to have been gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest
review so here goes....
I’ve read the other two books in the series here are links to my
reviews, Book #1 Slide and book #2 All That Matters.
Catch is a Novella that shows Ryan’s side of the story in Slide.
It’s been a while since I read Slide and as I didn’t have time to do a
reread it took me a while to get back into the story.
I still LOVE Ryan although we see a deeper side to him that
isn’t shown in Slide; it’s so nice to see that adoration and love he feels
almost immediately for Evangeline.
What I missed with this novella is the other side of the
story, this was totally about Ryan which is cool but because I didn’t read
straight after Slide I missed the emotional connection that Evangeline gave out
too.
This is a great companion novella because after Slide I did
think it would be great to understand Ryan a little more. I highly recommend
that you read Slide and Catch together.
This is a cute short read but I wish I have reread Slide
first 3.5 stars
