My Review

Keeping Mr Right Now is book #1 in the Kisses in the Sand series and the first book I have read by this author.

I was lucky enough to have been given an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review so here goes...

I’m gonna start with Zane because let’s be honest he’s the absolute star of the show!!! He’s adorably sweet but has an edge of cocky confidence, I’m gonna mention that he’s a surf bum which is super sexy. But what makes him perfect is the self deprecating vulnerability that he has, seriously just SWOON!!!

I liked Sophie she is sweet but almost too naive to the point that it felt a bit fake!! That being said when you throw in Honor or Zane, she became just a nice girl who was just so used to playing the role of geek she never attempted to be anyone else.

I loved Sophie & Zane together they were such a sweet couple, I will be honest I didn’t feel a lot of chemistry between them and I would have been surprised if they started ripping each other clothes off lol.

As a couple they gave off an old married couple vibe, I don’t mean that in a bad way more that they were very comfortable around each other like they had known each other forever.

I LOVED Sophie’s dirty inner monologue, hell we have all stared at a hot guy and thought christ what would I do if he told me to take my clothes off right here so he could fuck me lol.

I’m not sure what happened between Honor & Bryce, I’m assuming that theirs will be the story in the next book and I’m intrigued to know more.

This book was sickly sweet and generally gave me a warm fuzzy feel good feeling whilst I read it. This is a perfect holiday read on a beach with a cocktail 4 stars from me.
