Skating on Thin Ice by Jami Davenport

3.5 Sexy hockey stars
Blurb - A billionaire’s mission to bring hockey to Seattle clashes with his passion for the woman who holds his heart.

Ethan Parker, a billionaire determined to bring professional hockey to Seattle, will stop at nothing to realize his dream. After signing an agreement to purchase another city's team, Ethan plans to make the move to Seattle, but a gag order by the League forces him to keep the sale a secret until the season ends, leaving him no choice but to go undercover as a consultant to study his team during the playoffs.
Lauren Schneider, Assistant Director of Player Personnel for the Giants hockey team, gets no respect from the team's testosterone-loaded staff. So when Ethan bursts onto the scene, full of charm and genuinely interested in her opinions, she shares the team's weaknesses and discovers a weakness of her own--for Ethan. But when his true identity is revealed, and he starts cleaning house based on her unwitting input, his betrayal cuts deeply on both a professional and personal level. Bound by an employment contract, Lauren reluctantly moves to Seattle to work for the newly christened Seattle Sockeyes and her sexy, infuriating boss.
Lauren and Ethan must come to terms with their passions--for the team, for hockey, and for each other. Will their situation build a frozen wall between them, or will their love burn hot enough to melt the ice shielding their hearts?

Skating on Thin Ice is book #1 in the Game on in Seattle Series, this is the first book I have read by this author and I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review so here goes...

Sports romances are not normally at the top of my TBR list but having read the blurb this book appealed to me.

I love Ethan he’s rich, sexy and ruthless all very good leading man qualities but for me I would have loved for him to be a bit more alpha.

Lauren was a sweetie I liked her and engaged with her wanting to be a strong woman in a predominately male world.

Lauren and Ethan have some chemistry but it didn’t smoulder it sort of burned quietly, I’m glad that they ended up together they make a very cute couple.

I’m going to be completely honest and say that although this book is about Lauren and Ethan for me Cooper, Cedric and Brick totally stole the show!!!!

The hockey players totally stood out to me and I’m really hoping that they get their own books as part of the series.

I loved all of the passion for the sport, this author is obviously an Ice Hockey fan and I really enjoyed being absorbed into the world.

I enjoyed this book; it’s a nice easy read with a cute love story 3.5 stars.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read and review "Skating on Thin Ice." Actually Book 2 is about Cooper (it's a short story with an HFN) and then book 3 will continue his story. If' you'd like copies of the next one, let me know.
