***Release Day Blitz - Bulletproof by Melissa Pearl - 3.5 Stars - Out Now***

***Release Day Blitz***
Bulletproof by Melissa Pearl
Out Now!!!

Morgan Pritchett doesn't need anyone. Strong-willed and confident, she's the master of organizing and looking after everyone around her. In her mind, she's bulletproof.
But she has one weakness - men. She can't seem to live without them, yet is unable to find her perfect match. After yet another break up, Morgan promises her sister and best friend that she'll write off men for the rest of the year...but then she meets Sean Jaxon.
Sean Jaxon has worked hard to become a Hollywood actor, scoring minor roles and slowly making a name for himself as an action sidekick. After a chance encounter with the stunning Morgan Pritchett, he decides to take a risk and put his dancing skills to the test by signing on for the lead role in Superstar, a TV musical. He never thought he'd reconnect with the girl who urged him to ignore his manager and be honest with himself, but when Morgan shows up on the set as a production assistant, he realizes he's found his ultimate weakness - her.
Their passion for dance and music will bring them together, but will their relationship be able to withstand the forces determined to pull them apart? As Morgan comes face-to-face with her long-buried demons and Sean decides just how much he's willing to risk for love, these two songbirds discover something...they're not as bulletproof as they thought.

My Review
3.5 Frustrating Stars

Bulletproof is the first book I have read by Melissa Pearl and I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review so here goes...

For some reason this book isn’t exactly what I was expecting...

Morgan is a cool girl, she’s hard as nails and I actually really liked her attitude, unfortunately I hated that she allowed herself to be a bit of a doormat!!!

I really willed her to stand up for herself more and be more assertive and although she did in parts I would have loved for her to embrace that side of her character more.

Sean.... hmmm when we first meet Sean I LOVED him, I thought he was cocky but in a sexy way and I expected him to really overwhelm Morgan with sexy banter. Then he lost his backbone!!!! Seriously what the hell happened!!

Travis (who is an absolute arsehole BTW) just completely emasculated him and he just let him!!! Stand up for you woman dude seriously that’s how to be a man 101!!!

I was sooo angry with Sean I really wanted Morgan to kick Sean to the curb and go find herself a proper man lol

So yeah this book kind of caused a reaction from me lol

I hated Rhonda with a passion and I’m amazed Morgan didn’t slap her for some of the comments she made!!

I really enjoyed the later part of the book, Morgan did find her inner titanium and Sean found his man card again so all’s well that ends well I suppose.

This book both made me smile and cry a teeny, tiny bit (Jody we all know which way you would choose!!) but it also frustrated the hell out of me too lol.

I still enjoyed reading it even if in parts I needed a glass of wine to calm down a bit lol 3.5 stars from me!!!
