Uncover Me is book #4 in The Men of Inked Series, I’m a huge fan of this
author and have been lucky enough to have been given ARC’s for the last few
books here’s a link to the reading
order for this series and my reviews of all of the books.
Uncover Me is Thomas’s story, Thomas has been the often mentioned but
never seen member of the Gallo family. His first appearance is in Izzy’s book
Resist Me and to be honest first impressions of him were really just that he was
very intense.
Uncover Me is the grown up sibling to the other books in the series. It’s
a much darker, more serious story but it is still chocked full of Chelle Bliss’s
unique style.
I love Thomas he’s in your face and passionate about everything he does
and that intensity makes him pretty irresistible. It feels like his character
has much more depth than the other Gallo’s who are all fairly light-hearted.
Thomas feels everything more because he has seen and done things that
are much harsher and darker than his family have experienced. I was drawn to
him, he’s broken and I just wanted to give him a hug... and then rip his
clothes off lol
Angel aka Roxy is an interesting character, again she is a different
kind of female lead than we have seen previously in this series. Suzy, Mia and
Izzy are all strong women with lives and jobs, but Angel doesn’t have anything,
other than a life she’s happy to escape from.
I love that she is so consumed by Thomas that she is prepared to do anything
to be with him. I’m not saying she a pushover because she’s not, she’s still feisty
and strong just in a different way than the other girls.
Thomas and Angel are absolutely perfect for each other and flaming hell
this book may not be choc packed with sex but what there is, is hot as hell!!!
Thomas is alpha with a capital ‘A’ christ every time he touched Angel I
swooned. Again even the sex in this book was a bit darker and even at times more
violent, it may not be for everyone but when you combine it with the vibe for
the rest of the book it would have been odd if they had been all champagne and
roses.
This book runs at quite a slow pace but there is an undertone of danger
that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
OMG we have finally got
some insight into Anthony, I love his dry one liners and sarcastic barbs and I can’t
wait to read his book!!!
The Gallo’s strike again
and truly show that they are the nicest family in the world, I want them to
adopt me!!!
This book is darker,
more dangerous, more intense and I LOVED IT!!!
