Alec by L.A. Casey
Slater Brothers #2.5
4.5 Alec Is A God Stars

Blurb - Keela Daley is the black sheep of her family. She has always come second to her younger cousin Micah. Even in the eyes of her mother, Micah shone bright, and Keela faded to black. Now, in adulthood, Micah is a bride-to-be and the spotlight is solely on her. Keela is a low priority...or so she thinks.

Alec Slater is a bachelor, never one to bed the same woman, or man, twice. He is a free agent who does what he pleases and answers to no one; that is until a fiery Irish redhead with a temper to match her hair colour knocks him on his arse. Literally.

She hates to admit it, but Keela needs a favour from the cocky Slater brother, a
huge favour. She needs him to not only escort her to Micah's wedding, but to also pose as her boyfriend. Alec agrees to help Keela, but has certain conditions for her to abide by. He wants her body and plans to have it before anyone can say I do.

What he doesn't plan on is losing his heart as well as the possibility of losing his family when someone from his past threatens his future.

Alec owns Keela, and what Alec owns, Alec keeps.

Alec is book #2 in the Slater brother series.
Can I just mention how cool the cover for this book is!! Its creepy yet sexy I kind of love it.

L.A. Casey you are really bloody funny. This book kept me up till 3.36am tittering and giggling like a child.

I love Alec he’s so crude and obnoxious but in the most adorable way. I can completely understand why Keela wanted to hit him all the time.

Everything about this book is tongue in cheek and double entendres. It's carry on humour at it best but with some romance and a bit of Mafia drama thrown into the mix.

I'm honestly not sure who I like the best Dominic or Alec it's gonna be a really close race because they are both incredibly big headed, annoying idiots that make you fall head over heels in love with them.

Keela is a sweetie who takes a Bronagh style assertiveness course during the story and I love her feisty attitude.

I tell you what though these books portray the Irish women to be right little scrapers. I've never read a series of books with as many cat fights in it as this one.

I love Alec and Keela as a couple they are perfect for one another. Alec is so clueless when it comes to romance and relationships but when he talks about penguin love my heart just melted!

I get the impression that Kane's book will be next. I love this series but if his book takes the sad direction I think it will I'm sorry but I won't be able to read that.

Alec gets 4.5 stars from me.
