Reckless by Priscilla West
Three good but not great stars |

- Everything about him warned me to stay away.
I’d seen bad boys before, but he had it all and more. The rippling muscles covered in tats, the piercing eyes hiding dark secrets, the silky voice that could make a girl come with just a whisper . . .
He was exactly the type of guy that would get me in trouble, but when he jumped off the stage, inked skin glistening with sweat and breathed his seductive words into my ear, I couldn’t resist the temptation.
It was supposed to be the best one-night stand of my life, but fate didn’t let it play out that way. Things happened. I got upset. I got hasty. And worst of all, I got reckless.
After that disaster, I thought it was the last I’d see of him. But what I didn’t know was that I’d started something.
Something that could shatter the very thing I had worked so hard to protect.
I should have known back then that the most seductive things in life are also the most dangerous.

Reckless is the first book in what I believe
will be a two part series and the first book I have read by this author.
I was given this book by the publisher in
exchange for an honest review so here goes....
I loved this book Jax is the perfect badass he’s
a bit alpha, he rides a motorbike and is just a bit damaged.
I loved Riley at the start she was kickass and
full of attitude but once her and Jax got together she became a completely
different person!!!
I hated whiny, clingy Riley she became the worst
kind of female stereotype!!!
I liked the banter and chemistry between Riley
& Jax and the cowbell had me literally laughing out loud!!!
This book ended on a bit of a cliff hanger and I
really wasn’t expecting Jax’s dad and all the violence that seemed to come from
nowhere!!!
This book started off as a happy, sweet romance
with a bit of a bad boy twist but the closing scenes made it much darker than I
would have anticipated, I kinda loved it bring on the dark in book #2.
I have to say that Riley seems like the worst
accountant in the world she only speaks to Jax about the budget once and it’s
really never brought up again lol.
I love Chewie he’s bloody hilarious and definitely
breaks up all of the romantic angst.
I feel like the romance is a bit escalated I
mean Jax & Riley have known each other for about a week and they go into
proper committed, serious relationship mode.
I swing between really loving this book and
being annoyed with it so for me it gets a solid 3 stars.
