- Being the son of Colton Mitchell isn't what Noah Mitchell wants to be known
for. Though he works along side of his father, he feels the strain to go out on
his own. Being the next in line to be in control of the family's ranch, he
debates on taking his life in a completely different direction.
Leaving town to clear his head he meets Shalan, a beautiful singer that longs for a life in the city.
As sparks fly, his family's dreams for him seemingly go out the window. Will Noah stick around to follow in the footsteps of his famous father, or will love lead him away?

Noah is the first book in The Mitchell/Healey
Series and having read all of the books in the Mitchell Series I was super
excited for this book.
Ok so the good bits...
- Noah he’s a cocky bastard but he’s definitely got something about him!!
- I’ve missed the Mitchell/Healey clan so it was fab to jump back into the family.
And the not so good bits...
- This book doesn’t have the intensity of the previous Mitchell Series books.
Now I’m finding it difficult to rate this book
on its own merit purely and simply because I’m comparing it to the previous
books in the Mitchell Series.
I love grown up Noah, he’s a cocky arrogant
bastard but I kind of love that about him, I can definitely see elements of
Colt in him but overall he grew up well.
I’m not entirely sure how old he is supposed to
be in this book, but in some ways he seems completely immature.
I’m not convinced on Shalan, I’ve found myself
liking her one minute and then being completely annoyed by her the next.
I loved the family feel of the Mitchell series
so I’m so glad that this book has the same vibe and it was great to see
glimpses of Van & Colt and the other family members.
I enjoyed this book but I was disappointed that
it didn’t have the grit and edge that I’m used to in a Jennifer Foor novel.
This book started well and I loved that Noah got
a back bone and told his dad he wasn’t happy, I loved the idea of him meeting
Shalan and then him saving her from a horrible situation.
My issues came when Noah just totally backed
down and went back home to a lifestyle he doesn’t enjoy. Where was the grit and
intensity, unfortunately there wasn’t any.
He didn’t fight for Shalan and she was just
prepared to walk away to!!! It was so disappointing.
This book started off so well I mean hell Noah
has a dirty little mouth and I loved that he’s is sexually confident and was
happy to tell Shalan that he was going to rock her world!! The sex is sexy and
in the start of the book Noah & Shalan have some serious chemistry.
For me it all went downhill once he left New
York and by the time she visited the range the edgy bad boy had gone and in his
place was a pussy whipped ball of mush who just let Shalan walk away!!!
Please don’t get me wrong I still enjoyed this
book I just had such high hopes and unfortunately this just didn’t quite meet
up to the standard of his parents books 3.5 stars

- One year ago Isabella Mitchell moved to
Kentucky to live with her cousin Noah. Like her mother at her age, Isabella is
drawn to men she shouldn’t be with. When she travels back to North Carolina to
see her parents, she and her ex have a one-night stand. She knows they are
through, but sometimes what happens in the bedroom doesn’t always stay in the
bedroom.
Eight weeks later Isabella finds out she’s pregnant. She can’t tell anyone, because she knows how upset they’ll be. While struggling with decisions, Isabella catches the attention of the mysterious Rusty Tillman, a ranch hand for the Mitchell family. He’s handsome, hardworking, and ten years older. When Isabella refuses him, he takes it upon himself to claim the child as his own. Since she doesn’t want the family knowing the real father she goes along with the lie. The only problem is that Rusty wants more.
Can Isabella open her heart to a new love, or will she go back to the only man she’s ever loved?

Isabella is book
#2 in The Mitchell/Healy Family Series by Jennifer Foor, this is a spinoff of
the bestselling Mitchell Series here’s a link to the reading
guide. I love this author and this series so I was super excited to be
gifted a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Being completely frank from the moment Isabella
was introduced back in the beginning of The Mitchell family series she has
always been a bit of a brat!!
She didn’t really get any better with age and in
the last Mitchell Book Loving Her I kinda hated her with a passion!
Well now Isabella got her own book, do I still
hate her well actually not as much as I did lol!!
In this book she is in her early twenties and
living in Kentucky with her cousin Noah (LOVE HIM !!) she goes home to visit her
family and gets it on with her douche bag ex Tate.
Being completely honest it wasn’t a massive
shocker that she ends up pregnant and unfortunately this is just far too
similar to Isabella’s mom Miranda’s story.
In steps Rusty and kind of saves the show he’s a
real sweetie and he just ignores Izzy when she’s being a bitch. I love him he’s
absolutely perfect for her the yin to her yang so to speak.
Now he has some issues himself most of which are
just sad and then there’s the super, super creepy one!!! I’m not going to tell
you what it is but oh yeah it’s creepy!!!
OMG his parent’s house!!!!!!!
I enjoyed this book but for me it lacked the
passion and intensity that was in Noah’s book and the Mitchell family books.
This is a sweet love story but not my favourite by this author 3.5 stars.
