Throttle Me is the first book in the Men of
Inked Series and the first book I have read by this author.
I liked this book and seriously a badass bike
riding, tattooed alpha what’s not to like.
Ok so the good bits...
- City he’s gorgeous, kind, family oriented and happy to make all of your fantasies come true!!!
- All of the Gallo family, they are a big Italian family who love and support each other.
- Sophia & Kayden they seem like the perfect couple.
And the not so good bits...
- Suzy, I just didn’t engage with her.
- The sex was a bit lacklustre for me.
Now I loved City he was brilliant a sexy guy who
is covered in tats and is a tattoo artist. He rides a Harley and is a bit of a
badass, but underneath it all he’s a caring family man who’s a bit of a
marshmallow.
I loved the idea of him fulfilling Suzy’s fantasies
and the whole idea of being kidnapped and owned is titivating and a bit squirm
worthy.
Unfortunately this book doesn’t follow through
on its sexual promises. The build up and foreplay is hot but then the sex
scenes seem to go wahh wah waaa.
City has a dirty mouth and his is alpha and
kinky enough to be a bit of a wet dream lol!!
Now I’m sorry but I just didn’t like Suzy she’s
constantly hot and cold with City and to be honest in real life he would have
dumped her ass!!! I kind of understand that she’s trying to find the guy who
lives up to her parent’s expectations but seriously City is Ahmaaazing!!!
I loved the family oriented feel in this book; I
have always enjoyed books that have a large group of characters and the
potential for more books.
I liked City & Suzy together especially as
he took control and told her to stop being an idiot.
After Suzy was attacked I liked that we got to see City’s caring side but to be honest I would have preferred to read the kidnap fantasy play out lol.

Overall I liked this book but for me it could
have pushed the boundaries a bit more and been seriously sexy. Don’t get me
wrong it was still a good read and I will still be continuing on with the
series.

Ok so the good bits...
- Michael OMG yes please!!!
- Mia I like her, she’s a bit sassy.
- The Gallo’s I love them!!
And the not so good bits...
- Tammy is proper scary!!
Ok so I’m going to start off by saying can we
all just take a minute to stare at the cover for this book, I mean to be honest
I feel like it kinda needs a round of applause, here’s to the incredibly sexy
guy on the front!!!!
Now back to the good stuff I loved this book it
has all of the essentials needed for a good romance. Hot guy... check, Strong sassy girl... check, kickass family... check, bit of drama... check, hot sex... double check!!!
I liked Mia she’s a cool character; she’s a
doctor with her moral compass pointing in the right direction and hell she’s a
bit of a sex kitten under those ugly scrubs lol.
Michael now this is where it starts to get
really good, if Michael was real I honestly feel like I would just melt in a
puddle at his feet. I love that he’s a big sexy guy who’s also a gentleman and
wants to look after and protect the women in his life. He has a bit of alpha in
him without being too much of an asshole and to be honest he is pretty much the
perfect guy.
The chemistry between Michael & Mia is
smoking hot and the sex scenes had me squirming in my seat (in a good way).
I love the rest of the Gallo family and these
characters give the whole book a warm fuzzy supportive family feel.
Crazy Tammy is proper downright CRAZY!!! I kinda
loved her it’s rare to see a completely delusional nutter that is reminiscent
of the classic bunny boiler, but if Chelle Bliss had taken Tammy’s character a
bit further I think dead pets may have been in her future.
I enjoyed Throttle Me but I liked Hook Me even
better it may just be Michael and the images in my head ‘I am man see me fight’
(Swoon) that may have Michael topping the Gallo man scales so far lol.
I have to say after reading the sneak peak at
book #3 in this series Resist Me Izzy’s story I am counting down the days till
it releases I get the feeling that books gonna be explosive.
Overall Hook Me hits all the right romance
buttons for a sunny afternoon read, I devoured it in one sitting with a cold
beer and it worked for me 4 stars!!

- I hate Sam aka Flash I know you only get glimpses in this book but he really got my back up!!
Ok so this is a short but sweet novella about
City & Suzy and the run up to their wedding, this book has such a lovely
vibe and something about the Gallo clan puts a smile in my face.
Mama Gallo is brilliant I want her in my family,
just imagine how great she would have been as you were growing up!!
I like how much of a dirty mouth City has,
there’s something very sexy about an alpha man who can talk the talk.
I like Suzy & City together their characters
really complement each other and to be honest even the drama is kind of sweet
when you think about it.
There is nothing better than an alpha man
brought to his knees for love and it made me chuckle how quickly City went from
angry to totally whipped and missing Suzy lol.
I think everyone should have a friend like Izzy
she would be a blast to go on a night out with!!! But holy hell did everyone
else feel the chemistry between her and James (swoon) I really can’t wait for
Resist Me to come out now!! And seriously thank god that she’s not going to end
up with Flash I literally hate him with a passion!!!
This novella is seriously sweet and cute, City
& Suzy deserve a happy ending and this was the perfect ending to their love
story 4 stars from me!!

I LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
When I read Throttle Me I thought City was the
brilliant, when I read Hook Me, Michael became my favourite well I’m gonna say
that James makes Michael and City look like Pussies and he now claims the top
spot for sexiest man in this series!!!
James is sexy, tattooed, super protective and
seriously Alpha with a capital A!!!
This book seriously amps up the sex factor and I
was literally squirming in my seat, If you have read Throttle Me then take that
and add some serious kink and that just about covers the sexy time antics in
this book!!!!!
James is a dirty mouthed, alpha sex god and
holy hell the man has handcuffs!!!!!! Its official I’m smitten and a tiny bit
in love!!!!
Izzy is one of my favourite female leads of all
time she kicks ass and takes names, I love how she is just as foul mouthed and
dirty minded as all of the boys. There is none of this meek and mild stuff for
her and she is seriously my hero!!!!
She’s the girl we all wish we were!!! I love
the witty one liners and how sexually she knows exactly what she wants, even if
it’s being told what to do (wink, wink).
I’m not going to give details but we see a bit
more of Thomas in this book and if this series follows the trend of each book
just getting better and better then Uncover Me Thomas’s book is going to knock
my socks off!!!
To say that James & Izzy create a bit of
chemistry would be the understatement of the year, even the sex texts are hot
as hell!!!
I just love the Gallo’s as well; I think I’ve
mentioned in every review of this series so far that the family vibe in this
series gives me a massive case of the warm and fuzzies. Now not only do we have
a lovely family and brilliant parents but Suzy & Mia are added to the mix
as well.
I love this series, I love this author and I
LOVED James. I don’t care if I’m gushing and I don’t care if I sound like a fan
girl because seriously everyone should read these books!!!
Again I got dragged into the Gallo world and
spit out the other side with a grin on my face and horny as hell 5 stars!!!
