A Reason To Kill
is book #2 in the Reason Series, this is the first book I have read by this
author and I was gifted a copy in exchange for an honest review so here
goes....
This book was
funny, I wasn’t expecting it to be, what with it having several murders an all
but I literally giggled all the way through!!
Max is a bit of a
God lol Mia calls him Thor and I can totally see that!!! I love that he goes
from sexy Alpha to ball of mush over Mia.
I adore Mia she
is hilarious, but I love the fact that her character isn’t intentionally funny.
Mia is comedy gold because it’s her actions that are silly funny not what she
says!!
I did wonder if
the killer was the killer and I was right though I did have other blonde
suspicions lol
I’m not sure I’ve
ever read a funny murder mystery but that’s exactly what this book is. I feel
like it’s possible that C.P Smith has actually created a whole new genre!!!
Here in the UK
there was a series call last of the summer wine which is about the escapades of
a group of OAP’s and Maxine and Martha would have fit in so perfectly!!! I wish
Maxine was my mother in law she was amazingly brilliant!!!
This book really
does have it all I loved the love connection between Max and Mia but this story
is so much more than a romance!
I honestly feel
like this book would appeal to everyone, there’s something for everyone and I really
enjoyed it!!!
Seriously the
strap on demonstration had me doubled over with laughter!!!
Christ I almost
had a heart attack when the girls whipped out those glow in the dark dildos
lol!!!
It’s been a long
time since I laughed and smiled as much as I did reading this book gets 4
stars!!!
