Ready or not is book #4 In the Ready Series. This is the
first book I have read by this author and I was gifted a copy in exchange for
an honest review so here goes...
This
book is cute, it's not a complicated read that makes you think hard and
consider the plot from five different angles. Ready or Not is simply good
romance.
This
book is a standalone and I read and enjoyed it without any back-story to the
other characters in the group. However I think it would be a great addition to
the story to have met the other characters first.
I
actually really liked both Liv and Jackson they are both genuinely nice people.
It's rare these days to find two normal characters usually one is damaged or
odd in one way or another.
But
this book is just a nice story, there's a couple of twists and turns but mainly
it's just nice.
I
loved the pranks they played on each other and at times this book felt a bit
silly. But it all just added to the warm, happy feeling this story created.
I
personally felt that Liv's narrative and 'voice' felt much older than her
supposed 28 years but that's just my opinion.
This
is the perfect beach or Sunday afternoon read, it's nice and drama free just
good old fashioned romance.

or not gets 3.5 stars.
