This routine is killing me.

Day in and day out, it’s; the same thing: go to work, bed a whore, get a criminal off on a technicality— pretty standard for one of Chicago’s most established criminal defense attorneys. Yet I’m almost positive that if I don’t find something to get me out of this rut I’ll go as crazy as the murders I defend.

And when Violet Donovan walks in, the smart-mouthed intern who is anything but routine, I’m sure those pouty lips and fuck-me eyes are just what I need to get my cock and love for the law twitching again.

Too bad she also happens to be the daughter of the man who once tried to mentor me.

My Review

3 Sebastian Made Me Mad Stars!

Body of Law Volume One is the first instalment in Amanda Lance’s latest series, I was lucky enough to be gifted this novella in exchange for an honest review so here goes....

I’m going to start with Violet; I liked her ideals and moral values. I warmed to her almost instantly; I’m intrigued as to why she took an internship at a criminal law firm when she is so vehemently against defending criminals who are obviously guilty. I’m going to assume that it’s solely down to Sebastian and her ongoing teenage crush on him?? If that’s the case then the saying love is blind seems fairly apt here.

Sebastian... I’m going to be blunt what a F**ing asshat!!!! What are his redeeming qualities because I’ve not seen any yet!!!

I recently watched American Psycho unbelievably I had never seen it before, I’m sorry but Sebastian is Patrick aka ‘the psycho’ don’t get me wrong it’s minus the gory hitting people in the head with an axe but otherwise they are incredibly similar!!!

Sebastian is narcissistic, vain, self absorbed and seriously thinks he’s god gift!!!! Does this sound a lot like Patrick the psycho himself well yes, yes it does. Now I think it would be a bizarre twist to this love story should Sebastian start murdering people but who knows lol

This law firm feels like a real boys club complete with slimy can’t take no for an answer and the big boss who smarms over red heads young enough to be his daughter.

Violet needs to sack off Sebastian and find herself a nice bloke who actually has a soul.

Ok rant over but in conclusion... Love violet.... Hate Sebastian but amazingly id probably read the next instalment just to see what happens lol.

Sebastian gets 3 stars just for provoking such a reaction!
