#Nerd is the first book I have read by Cambria Hebert; this is book #1 in the Hashtag series.

This book is quirky and adorable.

The story is the age old tale of popular boy falls for nerd girl, but do you know what?  This story made me smile.

Romeo is the worse player in the world he is just far too nice, he can’t even be an arse long enough to be convincing lol I LOVE him!!

Zach is a nasty piece of work but I’m totally intrigued to see how he plays out in the second book #Hater.

Rimmel (seriously weird name or what!!) is super cute don’t you just love a nerd that nobody looks twice at who can be miraculously transformed into a stunner just with a pair of skinny jeans and a hair bobble!!

Rimmel and Romeo’s romance is sweet and almost childlike; I found their chemistry incredibly endearing and sweet. There was definitely a sexual connection between them but any intimacy between them wasn’t erotic it was more like an extension of the romance and love.

What was up with Romeo’s mom she came on strong being a real bitch but then we never hear from her again??

I loved the gossip girl style buzz messages; they were funny and lightened the mood.

This isn’t a complicated, intense melodrama it’s a light-hearted sweet romance and it was perfect for my reading mood at the time.

I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
